EDvance College works with generous community partners and foundations to provide financial support to qualifying students in the form of institutional grants. By working together we create opportunity for future change makers to continue their impact in our communities.

While EDvance College is in the Title IV application process, we are proud to offer institutional grants of up to $6,000 each semester based on individual student’s needs and fund availability.

To qualify for and maintain an EDvance College institutional grant students must:

Enroll full-time (15 units) per semester in the BA in ECS degree program or be enrolled in our GE pathway.

Be working on their first bachelor’s degree. This includes degrees earned outside the U.S.

Be employed a minimum of 15 hours per week in an early care and education setting (i.e., center-based program, family child care program) in any role (i.e., classroom teacher, center director, education coordinator).

Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 and meet all student-program expectations including but not limited to attendance, participation, and work placement requirements.

Institutional grants are awarded on a semester-by-semester basis after students have exhausted all other forms of financial aid. This includes federal, state, and employer aid programs, if available.

GETTING STARTED

Determining financial need

Each student’s financial need is determined using various factors (e.g.: income, grants, reimbursements, stipends, scholarships, etc). To apply for financial aid from EDvance College students must submit an Institutional Grant Application for review.

All students who submit an Institutional Grant application will be considered for a grant at the time of awarding. Due to limited funding, not all students who are eligible will receive this award. The amount is evaluated and determined on a semester-by-semester basis.
