Employer Partners

Advancing the ECE profession together

Unlike most institutions of higher education, EDvance College works directly with community-based early childhood programs as Employer Partners to recruit, support, and graduate our cohorts of students. This unique partner model allows us to create intentional pathway communities that are not only representative of the communities they serve, but also provides college credit for work experience. Together, EDvance College and Employer Partners create achievable opportunities for student degree attainment and career advancement.

Employer Partners are an integral part of making higher education work for working educators. An EDvance Employment Partner is a:

Licensed or license except, publicly-funded/subsidized school district or Head Start/Early Head Start agency

A family child care provider

County office of education

Regardless of the type of agency, EDvance Employer Partners share an interest in supporting the development of their existing ECE workforce in degree attainment as well as creating new opportunities for those wishing to enter the field.

Employer Partners commit to maintaining students employed while enrolled in EDvance College and work with EDvance staff to ensure student success.
