EDvance College works with generous community partners and foundations to provide financial support to qualifying students in the form of institutional grants. By working together we create opportunity for future change makers to continue their impact in our communities.
Enroll full-time (15 units) per semester in the BA in ECS degree program.
Explains the role of policy, advocacy, and organizing in early childhood education while demonstrating the competence and confidence to act as agents of change.
Be working on their first bachelor’s degree. This includes degrees earned outside the U.S.
Be employed a minimum of 15 hours per week in an early care and education setting (i.e., center-based program, family child care program) in any role (i.e., classroom teacher, center director, education coordinator).
Maintain cumulative GPA of 2.0 and meet all student-program expectations including but not limited to attendance, participation, and work placement requirements.

The financial need of the student may be determined using various factors (e.g.: reimbursements, stipends, scholarships, etc). Determining financial need will require the student to submit an Institutional Grant Form to EDvance College for review. Availability of other sources of funding will affect the student award as well. All outside scholarship/grant awards will be applied to the direct cost of education (tuition and fees) prior to any institutional grant award.
All students who provide the required financial information are considered for the grant at the time of awarding. Due to limited funding, not all students who are eligible will receive this award. The amount is evaluated and determined each academic year.
